Clacton-on-Sea

This seaside programme is for students aged 14-18. Clacton-on-Sea lies on the Essex Sunshine Coast, only 2 hours from London. It offers all the entertainment you would expect at the seaside - a beach, fun-fairs, amusement arcades and water-sports - and is only a few kilometers away from beautiful countryside and traditional English villages.
Clacton Summer Centre is situated in the very centre of the town, with easy access to the beach and shops. Accommodation is with carefully selected local families, never too far from the town centre.
At Clacton, students are able to enjoy all the fun of the seaside, as well as organised sports, social activities and excursions.

 
 

 


The teaching consists of 20 x 45-minute lessons a week in classes of 10 - 14 students. There are supervised activities every afternoon and two evening discos a week, as well as evening barbecues. Every week there is one half-day and one full-day excursion.

Accommodation is with host families in single or twin rooms, full board ( including packed lunch).

Included in the price are local bus passes, all teaching materials and textbooks, and the help of our Social Secretary in arranging optional activities.

A transfer service from and to the airport can be arranged.
