General English is our main programme. Students study the four language skills (speaking, listening, writing and reading), with a focus on listening and speaking in class, and learn English grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. Students can start any Monday (except Bank Holidays). There are 20 lessons a week in groups of no more than 13 students. There are 7 levels, from complete beginner to advanced, based on the Common European Framework for languages. FInd out more about these here

MAIN COURSE & CONVERSATION
20 lessons a week of Main Course plus 5 lessons of Conversation.
This course is intended for students with an intermediate level of English (B1) and higher who are interested in extra study to improve their speaking and listening skills.
Topics covered include: social issues, life in Britain, crime, globalisation, the environment, the media, students' own interests, work and studies.
Classes include discussions, simulations, role-plays and authentic multimedia materials.
MAIN COURSE & WRITING
20 lessons a week of Main Course plus 5 lessons of English Writing . This option is for students from a beginner to an upper- intermediate level of English (A0-B2) who want to improve their writing. The course includes: spelling, sentence, paragraph and text construction, register, discourse.
MAIN COURSE & BUSINESS
20 lessons a week of Main Course with 5 lessons of Business English. For students with an intermediate level of English (B1) and higher. Students must have a business background in their studies or work. Students study: business vocabulary and skills, marketing, corporate structure, business communication (e-mail, letter, memo, fax), making presentations, selling, persuading and informing.
MAIN COURSE & IELTS FOUNDATION
20 lessons a week of Main Course with 10 lessons of IELTS practice. This option is for students with a low-intermediate level of English (B1) to prepare them early for the IELTS exam. Students learn: writing tasks one and two, sentences, paragraphs, spelling; reading - scanning, skimming, keyword strategies, question formats; listening - intensive and extensive listening strategies, question formats; speaking - fluency, pronunciation, intonation, organising answers.
