CESC is located in Colchester, Essex, roughly 45 minutes from the centre of London by train (to Liverpool Street Station).

Cambridge is only about 1 hour and 20 minutes by car or train from Colchester, and the sea, at the seaside town of Clacton-on-Sea, is only 20 minutes away.

Conveniently for students who want to travel around Europe or around the U.K., London Stansted Airport is very near Colchester. From Stansted, there are very cheap flights run by web-based airlines such as Ryanair and Easyjet. Stansted Airport is only 50 minutes by bus from Colchester.

Where we are in Colchester

CESC is in Lexden Road, in the very elegant Lexden area of Colchester.

CESC is only five minutes' walk from the centre of Colchester. Students can very easily walk from the school to the shops, cinema, restaurants, museums, and nightclubs.

Colchester North Train Station is about twenty minutes' walk away, or students can catch the number 65 bus from a bus stop very near the school. The bus takes about ten minutes.

How to travel to Colchester


	It is possible to travel by taxi from both Heathrow and Gatwick airports. We can arrange this for our students at a special rate. If you decide to take your own taxi when you arrive, be aware that the normal price for a taxi from Heathrow or Gatwick to Colchester will probably be around £150. However, there are also public transport options available:
