The IELTS (International English Language Testing System) exam is one of the most widely accepted examinations in the world. It is jointly managed by the British Council, IDP/IELTS Australia, and the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations. IELTS is available at over 500 locations in 120 countries. More than 6,000 organisations around the world accept IELTS scores as being a reliable measure of the ability to communicate in English. More than 1 million people a year now take IELTS.

Colchester English Study Centre is an authorised IELTS centre. We offer the exam regularly (generally twice a month), and attract students from around the U.K. and abroad. We also offer preparation courses for both Academic and the General Training IELTS.
