Residential courses
Each school boarding house is supervised by a House Parent and members of staff sleep in the same boarding house as the students. Learners sleep in dormitory accommodation which is simple but comfortable. We provide all the facilities that are needed, including a laundry service. Clothes need to be carefully marked and students need to bring towels with them in our Residential Centres.
All meals are provided and learners eat with each other in the school dining hall. There is a choice of menu with both hot and cold dishes and a range of traditional English and international food to please every taste!
Living with a family
Our host families are carefully selected by our Accommodation Officers and live within easy reach of the Study Centres. Students can sleep in twin or single rooms with full or half board. We do not place students with the same mother tongue in the same family.
The family provides all meals and will also make a packed lunch during the week if full board has been requested. They will carry out basic laundry and make our students feel very much part of the family.
Learners receive information about the host family in good time before they arrive so that they can write to them and introduce themselves. Living with a family is a very important part of a Homestay International Language Holiday.
