Accommodation
Most of our students stay with host families. CESC chooses from the very best local families. Usually, accommodation includes a comfortable, well-furnished single room with desk, half-board Monday-Friday (breakfast & evening meal) and full-board Saturday & Sunday (breakfast, lunch, evening meal).
We never place students of the same
nationality in a homestay unless asked.
Many of our host families live less than 5 km from the school and most bus services from homestays
to the school are direct.
We can take into account the special needs of diabetic and vegetarian students, if we are
given notice. Please let us know if you
have any medical problems.
Our accommodation officer, Helen Thompson, has over 20 years' experience. CESC's accommodation placement service is free. Some of our host families have worked with us for over 20 years. Many of them have enjoyed excellent relationships with the students who stayed with them, and have even visited them in their home countries afterwards (for weddings, family events, etc).

Hotel accommodation: We
can help students find hotel accommodation
in Colchester, if requested. This tends to be
a popular option
among executive students in particular.
