Why take the Model United Nations Training Programme?
This course gives young people a unique opportunity to study topics and develop skills which will help them to become informed and engaged citizens in the future. The syllabus includes many areas relevant to the European Youth Parliament and is compatible with the programmes of United Nations Youth Associations.
The course puts into practice Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), where subjects are taught through a foreign language. More than this, students gain extensive practical experience in meaningful spoken interaction, including leading and participating in class discussions, giving presentations, listening to and questioning visiting speakers and participating in formal debates.
